Windows - Connection

The Connection window will automatically remember all previously successful connections and provide a list of them for easy selection.

By default the Password field will be masked with asterisk's (the * symbol).
To show the password, click (masked). To hide it again, click (unmasked).
If you have unmasked the password, it will return to the default of masked on the next connection attempt.

The requirement of User and Password are set on the database by the Database Administrator. If there is a general account available or you wish to use the network credential identification pass-through; User and Password are not required.
